Years of Impact
Our Story
Founded in 2009 by Sarah Jenkins, Charis Children Ministry began as a small community outreach program in a single neighborhood. What started as a mission to provide weekend meals for twenty children has blossomed into a multi-national effort supporting thousands.
Over the last 15 years, we have seen first-hand how a combination of stable nutrition, consistent education, and spiritual grounding can break the cycle of poverty. Our history is written in the success stories of our first graduates, many of whom are now returning as volunteers to give back to the ministry that raised them.
Today, we operate in four countries, managing schools, medical clinics, and community centers, all while maintaining the same heart for the individual child that we had on day one.
